Team Building
During both semesters of AJAM, I have been committed to fostering a learning environment that welcomes the unique characteristics of very individual. Throughout the year, AJAM has become not just a group of dedicated journalist but also a family, who share the same love and interest. During my time in this class, I have consistently advocated for our team members to bring snacks as it pushes our team together and ensures no one is working on an empty stomach. Additionally, I make sure all AJAM members are active participants in the meditation before the start of class because it helps our team reset and start class with positive energy. Lastly, I helped Finn Nelson design the logo on the AJAM hoodie which has not only made us feel like at team, but make us look like one too!

Leadership and Team Building
Ever since I was 3, I have been apart of an interactive team sport. Growing up playing soccer taught me the importance of team work and collaboration to create the best results that incorporates the unique skills of every individual on a team. I took these acquired skills and applied them to teams I have been apart of here at Redwood, like TUPE.
TUPE not only further my teamwork skills, but also showed me the importance of team camaraderie and connection to have a lasting impact on the community. These skills are essential when being apart of the student press and I am committed to brining my leadership experiences from soccer and the TUPE team into my work for the Redwood Bark.
