During the week of May 6th, students showed their love and gratitude for their teachers during Teacher's Appreciation Week. Teacher's Appreciation Week is a long-lasting tradition at Redwood and around the country and is essential for recognizing all that teachers do for their students. In order to give a shout-out to specific teachers who have had a powerful impact on their students, I asked students to reflect on teachers they appreciate and why. I used my well-rounded knowledge of social media to create appealing, audience-engaging social media posts that were quick and easy to read. Publishing a swipe-able instagram post was extremely effective in conveying my message and helped Redwood students remember to always thank their teachers for pushing them to be their best self, academically and personally!
